Seven boiler brands that the German editorial staff decided to recommend were short-listed. Our product placed second, with a popular domestic manufacturer taking the lead. The expert jury valued the simple control, continuous output regulation, as well as the technology of the instantaneous water heating. “The Thermona boiler is protected from spraying water (IP44) and thus it can be installed, for example, in a bathroom. The manufacturer highlights the compact dimensions of 72.5 × 43 × 30 centimetres that make it possible to install the boiler in a restricted space,” stern.de stated.
Naturally, we were incredibly pleased about the evaluation of the independent portal. We sell the same boiler on the Czech market as well, where it is quite popular, namely in residential homes where it can be installed for several housing units with a joint flue pipe.

The awarded boiler is a suspended atmospheric boiler, however, its emissions are comparable with condensing boilers thanks to the modified burner and so it can be sold in the entire European Union. Water is heated with the use of a secondary plate heat exchanger, built in the boiler. The boiler unit includes a low-emission, water-cooled burner, supplemented with an energy-efficient circulating pump, providing for an efficient operation with low costs. THERM 20 CXE.AA and its THERM 28 CXE.AA version stronger in performance are designed for customers who are not comfortable with the installation of a condensing boiler for various reasons.
Among other things, the recommendation from Germany is valuable for Thermona even more as the Czech manufacturer would like to focus more on advanced western markets.
Recently, there has been a large competition of Asian manufacturers in the segment of cheap and technologically simple boilers in the developing countries to the east, which cannot even be sold in the EU. We would like to follow the path of sophisticated products with western qualities, but at more reasonable prices.
