For the purpose of communication between different control systems and THERM boilers, we have developed our own cascade controller THERM TKR, which conveniently processes the incoming signal and transmits the information about the desired action to the boiler or cascade of boilers. It is therefore used as an intermediary to facilitate communication between the boiler cascade and the parent control system such as THERM VPT or single zone controller. System parameters are easily set using the touch screen display. As well as passing information to the boiler assembly, it can process and pass fault information back to the parent control system.
We offer the cascade controller in a convenient version of a complete mounting box designed for controlling 1-3 boilers in a cascade. Of course, it is possible to use individual additional modules and extend the controller to control up to 32 boilers. In the case of installing your own switchboard, the recommended kits are provided.

The TKR cascade controller built into the THERM TKR BOX is designed for mounting on the wall (or support frame) next to the boilers. The length of the DIN rail allows the addition of up to 5 TKR SOT expansion modules and thus control a cascade of up to 8 boilers (or up to 7 boilers if the TKR REP signalling module is also used).
The TKR cascade controller built into the THERM TKR BOX II mounting box is designed for mounting on the wall (or support frame) next to the boilers. The length of the DIN rail allows the addition of up to 21 TKR SOT expansion modules and thus control a cascade of up to 24 boilers (or up to 23 boilers if the TKR REP signalling module is also used).

The TKR MAS/3 cascade controller independently controls a cascade of up to 3 boilers. To increase the number of boilers in the cascade (up to 32 boilers), TKR SOT expansion modules are used. On the display of the controller we can set a constant output temperature or an equithermal curve, or we can use a parent controller with OT/+ communication to set the output temperature, or we can control the output temperature with a voltage of 0 – 10 V. Supply voltage 5 V, DIN rail mounting, width 4 modules.
The TKR MAS/2 cascade controller independently controls a cascade of up to 2 boilers. To increase the number of boilers in the cascade (up to 32 boilers), TKR SOT expansion modules are used. On the display of the controller we can set a constant output temperature or an equithermal curve, or we can use a parent controller with OT/+ communication to set the output temperature, or we can control the output temperature with a voltage of 0 – 10 V. The TKR SOT expansion module is used to connect another boiler to the TKR MAS/2 or TKR MAS/3 controller, it is mounted on a DIN rail, width 1 module, connection with the controller is provided by the TKR BUS mounted in the DIN rail.
The TKR DIS touch screen is used to set additional functions, display the cascade status and parameters of each boiler in the cascade or change the factory setting of the controller parameters. The display has a width of 5 modules, is mounted on the DIN rail to the left of the controller, is permanently connected to the controller, communication and power supply is provided by a connecting cable included in the display. The service technician can use REK GTP-S for service setup.

Module for signalling the failure of a boiler in the cascade and signalling the failure of all boilers in the cascade or signalling the switching on of a boiler in the cascade and switching on the heating system pump. The TKR REP signalling module is mounted on a DIN rail, module width 1.5, connection to the controller is provided by the TKR BUS bus mounted in the DIN rail.
The TKR BUS is mounted in a DIN rail and is designed for fast and reliable connection of the TKR MAS controller with the TKR SOT and TKR REP expansion modules, it provides power supply and communication with the controller. When using only one expansion module, it is possible to use wire jumpers.

The NTC temperature sensor with cable is necessary for the controller to function. It is used to measure the outlet temperature from the cascade and is placed on the outlet throat of the anuloid.
The service touch screen for REK GTP-S electric boilers is equipped with a 1 m long connecting cable and is designed for service setting of the controller by a service technician, after setting it must be disconnected.
